The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending September 19, 2021. The divisional stars of the week are awards given each week of the regular season to the top-performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.

Central Division Star of the Week: Kyle Bauer, F, Rochester Grizzlies

Bauer helped the Grizzlies get off to a strong start, notching three goals over two games last week. The native of Hastings, Minn. was tallied twice on Friday, then followed up with another goal on Saturday as well as Rochester topped Oregon in both contests.

2nd Star: Riley VanderHoeven, F, Oregon Tradesmen

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Max Breon, F, Rochester Grizzlies

East Division Star of the Week: Ian Skinner, F, Bay State Bobcats

Entering his third year with the Bay State organization, Skinner opened the season on a tear with a pair of goals and a pair of assists in two tilts against Long Beach last week. Skinner played a starring role on Saturday with two goals — including the game-winner — and a helper in a victory, then notched another assist in a shootout loss on Sunday for a four-point weekend.

2nd Star: Brian Lupo, F, New Jersey Titans

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Dylan Harbour, F, Long Beach Sharks — Braeden Kennedy, F, Northeast Generals — Tommy Lubin, D, Northeast Generals — Tyler Zembrzycki, F, Long Beach Sharks

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Tristan Baker, F, Gillette Wild

After finding the scoresheet in each of his first two games during week one, Baker exploded for nine points in two games against Yellowstone last week. The second-year sniper posted a goal and a whopping four assists on Friday, then recorded two goals and two more helpers no Saturday for his first multi-point outings of the season. Baker boasts goals in three straight games now, and has appeared on the scoresheet in each of his four games played so far this year.

2nd Star: Tylor Greene, F, Helena Bighorns

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): AJ Benit, D, Great Falls Americans — Liam Bland, F, Helena Bighorns — Ian Bowman, F, Bozeman Icedogs — Henry Fusco, F, Great Falls Americans — Luke Hartmark, F, Bozeman Icedogs — Cade Wessman, F, Butte Cobras — Declan Young, F, Gillette Wild

South Division Star of the Week: Hunter Hein, G, Texas RoadRunners

Hein put up a wall in the RoadRunners’ net last week, winning both of his starts and picking up a shutout as he stopped 46 of 47 total shots. The Phoenix, Ariz. native stopped all 29 pucks that came his way in Friday’s win, then bookended the weekend set with a 17-save effort in yet another victory, sealing up a 3-0-0 start for the RoadRunners. Hein played seven games for Texas last season, picking up one win in that span and recording a .908 save percentage and 3.70 GAA.

2nd Star: Tyler Love, F, Texas RoadRunners

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): None

West Division Star of the Week: Hayden Hennen, D, Granite City Lumberjacks

Hennen was a force from the blue line for Granite City last week as he tallied three goals in two games for the Lumberjacks. The 6-foot-33 blueliner grabbed two goals on Friday, then netted another on Saturday as Granite City cruised past Minnesota. His three goals tie him for most among NA3HL defensemen through the young campaign.

2nd Star: Jeremiah Konkel, F, Willmar Warhawks

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Kullan Daikawa, F, Granite City Lumberjacks — Cooper Olson, G, Willmar Warhawks — Owen Reeve, G, Minnesota Loons — Jamison St. Clair, F, Minnesota Loons
