Players' Log: Day 37 in Alaska - Junior Hockey News

Today is the start of a new week. I woke a couple of hours earlier than I usually do for some reason. I must have gotten some really good rest from last night for me to be up that early. So, I laid in bed for a while to pass some time before eating something to have some energy for our workout.

I didn’t realize that my roommate wasn’t up yet, so we were a little late getting to work out. We didn’t miss anything though since our trainer and most of the guys we usually work out with weren’t there today. We did our warmup today, so I was able to get a little more stretched out. We only had our workout today, we got to work a little harder. Especially since lately, we have had almost no time in between workouts and Coach Morris’s skate.

After the workout, we went back home and did some chores before our billet dad came back from his fishing trip with his friends this weekend.

We had made pulled pork sandwiches for dinner tonight along with watching game four of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Montreal Canadians and the Tampa Bay Lightning. That game was a nail-biter until the very end, the Montreal Canadians ended up winning that game in overtime.

After watching the game I was pretty tired so I decided to head downstairs to go to bed for the night.
