Players' Log: Day 36 in Alaska - Junior Hockey News

Today is Independence Day, the day where our country gained our freedom from Great Britain.

I woke up pretty early today. I started the day right by going on a short walk since it was nice outside. I got back home to see if my roommate was up yet, but he was up pretty late last night so he was still asleep.

I went to my room to watch some T.V. while I waited for my roommate to wake up. When he did wake up, he walked into my room and we talked about what we’re going to do to celebrate the fourth of July.

After a while, we got a text from our friends asking what we were going to be doing later tonight. So, we all agreed that we would hang out tonight to celebrate.

As soon as we had our plans for tonight, we went to the store to go get some food for us to eat for tonight. We had made some hotdogs to stick with a tradition that most of the country eats on the Fourth of July. Our friends came over and we played some games and ate our food.

Since we still had our workout tomorrow we didn’t hang out for as long as we did on Friday. When they left we cleaned up our messes again and went to bed so we could be well energized for our workout tomorrow.
