Today is Monday and after getting a good night’s rest, I woke up today not remembering that my billet dad is going to be out of town for the next 10 days. He went to go meet his family on vacation.

When I went upstairs it was kind of weird not greeting him and eating my breakfast in silence. After I ate though, I went back downstairs and made sure my roommate was up so we could make it to our workout on time.

Thankfully I woke up my roommate when I did because if I didn’t, we would’ve been late for our workout. When we finished our workout, we talked with our trainer for a while before heading to the store to go get food for the next week or so. It was about three o’clock when we made it back home with the groceries we had gotten.

After not hearing from Coach Morris for a while about what time the practice was tonight, my roommate and I ate early tonight to make sure that if we did have a skate our food would be digested.

When we heard that there wouldn’t be a skate tonight, we chilled out and talked for a bit before watching the first game in the series between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadians.

Not soon after the game ended, we ended up hanging out with an old teammate from last year who lives up here. When he left, I had made myself a snack and headed to bed to get some good rest for what tomorrow would bring.
