Players' Log: Day 15 in Alaska - Junior Hockey News

Sunday everyone slept in today, today I got up before my roommate did. As I ate breakfast today, I sat and talked with my billet dad about his night the night before, while watching game one of the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Islanders.

After watching the game, I decided to go back downstairs for a little bit while waiting for my roommate to wake up. Once he woke up, I let him eat some food before we played some video games for a while.

After a while, I checked my phone and realized that we had to make some dinner before leaving for our game in the Junior Elite League that we are participating in. For dinner, I had the rest of the leftover chicken and spaghetti with some fruit.

Not soon after eating, we left for the rink. Once everyone on our team got on the ice, I noticed how short-benched we were tonight. We only had six Defensemen and five forwards. I decided to make the lines more even on our team by playing forward for our game tonight.

We were victorious in our game tonight the line I was on racked up a lot of points. My linemates helped me get a hat trick tonight as well.

When we got home, I was extremely tired after playing forward tonight as well as only rotating between two lines for the whole game. So I had some protein to recover and went to bed pretty early tonight.
