Players' Log: Day Eight in Alaska - Junior Hockey News

Published: Monday, 7 Jun 2021
By: Jake Measel

Sunday was a pretty laid-back day. When I woke up this morning, I had some cereal and a bagel with blueberry cream cheese before talking to my billet dad for couple of minutes before heading back downstairs to play some video games with my roommate.

Before I knew it was 3:30 PM. We made fettuccini alfredo. While I was waiting to leave for my game in the Junior Elite League, We ate the alfredo and watched the NHL playoffs before having to leave for the rink.

When we made it to the rink my roommate realized that he forgot his clothes to wear under his gear, so he had to hurry back to the billet house to grab them.

When the game started, we still had too many Defensemen on our team, so I played forward this game. I got two assists at forward before the game ended.

When we got back home, I was pretty tired so I grabbed some leftover fettuccini before going to bed.
