The third day in Anchorage was quite eventful; I had my first workout today as well as the first game of the Junior Elite Spring League we taking part in.
I was able to meet Coach Keith Morris of the Anchorage Wolverines for the first time. He introduced my roommate and I to some of the guys taking part in both the workouts and the Elite League. After the workout, my roommate and I went home to grab something to eat before the game.
When we got to the rink to check in, we got our jersey’s which looked pretty cool; they resembled the alternate jersey for the Minnesota Wild. Despite the game being tight and skilled, I managed to get a goal and two assists. By the time the game was over and made it home, it was 8:30 so my roommate and I made pasta and a salad for dinner then went to bed so we could be well-rested for tomorrow.
