USHL Player of the Week: Aidan Thompson - Junior Hockey News

This week's USHL Player of the Week is Aidan Thompson.
 
Aidan Thompson of the Lincoln Stars is this week’s USHL Player of the Week. This was a busy week in USHL with games everyday except Monday. Aidan’s Lincoln Stars played on three days. On Wednesday, they took on the Sioux Falls Stampede. In a totally dominant affair Thompson was able to put up two goals and an assist. His teammates matched his productivity with another seven goals. The Stars won the day, 9-4.

Aidan had another impressive performance in the first game of a home and home matchup with the Waterloo Black Hawks. In another lopsided tilt Thompson managed two goals and two assists. His Stars went on to defeat the Black Hawks, 7-3. 

Forward, Aidan Thompson (19) is a native of Fort Collins, CO. His youth hockey was spent playing with the Colorado Thunderbirds, the Berkshire School and the NV River Rats. Thompson began in the USHL with Lincoln in the 2018-19 season. He has committed to play for the University of Denver beginning in 2021-22.
