USHL Player of the Week: Ethan Edwards - Junior Hockey News

Defenseman Ethan Edwards of the Sioux City Musketeers is this week’s USHL Player of the Week.The Musketeers won their matchup against the Lincoln Stars that was sandwiched between two contests with Sioux Falls Stampede this week. The first game was a 4-3 three loss but Edwards remained pointless but still managed a +1.  In the game against the Stars, Edwards scored the go-ahead-goal and added an assist on the following insurance goal in the third. He was a +2 in the contest. In the final game of the week against the Stampede the blueliner combined with Chase Bradley allowing Christian Jimenez to score. He finished the game a +1. 

D-man, Ethan Edwards (18) is a native of Grand Prairie, AB. In his youth, Edwards played with multiple organizations including the St. Albert Sabres, St. Albert Flyers, Northern Alberta Elite and Northern Alberta X-Treme Prep. He broke into Juniors with the Spruce Grove Saints of the AJHL in 2018. In 2020, he was drafted in the 4th round (120th overall) of the NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He has committed to play for University of Michigan beginning in 2021.
