JuniorHockey.com is pleased to name Dylan Jensen as the Behind the Champ and JuniorHockey.com Youth Hockey Player of the Week!
Dylan Jensen is an ‘03 Forward now playing with the Indy Jr Fuel 18U AAA (formally with the Fargo Davies Eagles). This weekend Dylan’s Jr. Fuel split their matchups. On Thursday The Fuel fell to the Meijer AAA 18U club but on Saturday Indy would level-up by downing the Tri-State Spartans 4-3 in OT. In fact, it took more than just three periods to get the victory. The Jr Fuel were down 2-0 as they started the third period. By the end of regulation they were even at 3-3. Once the Jr. Fuel got to overtime, it was Dylan’s goal that won the game. See the goal here:
JuniorHockey.com invites all of you to congratulate Dylan for his outstanding performance this week.
Honorable Mention goes to: ‘05 Forward, Jackson Mayo of the Mississauga Reps. This year is not measured in games alone. There are many players unable to skate with their teammates due to differing team/league/state/provincial/country covid restrictions that are in place. Jackson is one of those players. Unable to play, Jackson has been hard at work with his strength and conditioning coach in preparation for the coming season. He has successfully created and implemented a routine whereby he is working out 5-6 times per week (in his garage with space heaters-no less). His dedication has shown gains of 10-15%.
Thank you to all that participated in this event. Our next “Youth Hockey Player of the Week” competition will open at 6:30pm (EST) on Sunday.
