JuniorHockey.com is pleased to name Tyrus T-REX Pratley as the Behind the Champ and JuniorHockey.com Youth Hockey Player of the Week!

Tyrus “T-Rex” Pratley is an ‘04 Goalie playing with the Des Moines Buccaneers 16U AAA. This weekend the Bucs went undefeated in their NAPHL Showcase in Dallas, TX.  T-Rex stopped 30 out of 31 shots in the Des Moines victory over Colorado Springs. In addition he denied 38 of 40 attempts (plus 3/4 shootout chances) to secure a win over the top team in the NAPHL West (Northwest Stars). Over the course of the Showcase he stopped 68 of 71 shots (in total) and was 3 for 4 in shootout attempts on the weekend.
JuniorHockey.com invites all of you to congratulate T-Rex for his outstanding performance this week.

Honorable Mention goes to: ‘03 Defenseman, McCarthy “Mac” Reed of the Waunakee Warriors. Mac elevated his Warriors and gave his team the lead with an even-strength goal at 8:23 of the 3rd period. The lead would hold and  prove to be the game winner against Janesville.  He finished the game with a pair of goals and an assist. Two nights later, Mac produced five assists to lead his team to victory over the WNS Storm (9-4).  After just 3 games on the season, he leads his team with 11 points!

Thank you to all that participated in this event. Our next “Youth Hockey Player of the Week”  competition will open at noon on Sunday 1/3/21. *There will be no competition w/o 12/28.
