Youth Hockey Player of the Week Junior Hockey News

By: Michael Moore, is pleased to name Cole Skerry as the Behind the Champ and Youth Hockey Player of the Week!

Cole is an ’05 defenseman from Canada and skating with the Williams Lake Timberwolves in BC.
Last January, Cole broke his arm and missed the rest of the season. When he was finally able to get back on the ice, he lost a wheel and it resulted in him falling and breaking his thumb. Undeterred, Cole made his way back after being away for six weeks. This weekend he competed in a three on three competition. He helped his team secure a second place finish by scoring a goal and several assists. invites all of you to congratulate Cole Skerry for his outstanding performance this week.

Honorable Mention goes to: Sam Schmidt of the Affton American's (U16 AA CSDHL).  Sam kept his team afloat during their play in the Top Cheddar Tournament in Green Bay. Outmatched by AAA opponent Schmidt made an impressive 50 saves.
