Youth Hockey Player of the Week Junior Hockey News

Published: Tuesday, 10 Nov 2020

JuniorHockey.com is pleased to name Dakota Rosebush as the Behind the Champ and JuniorHockey.com Youth Hockey Player of the Week!
Dakota is an ’05 defenseman and manages the blueline for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. Though this week, Dakota went above and beyond the typical D-core responsibilities. As it is becoming more commonplace in the Covid era, the Jr. Flyers had multiple players offline for this weekend’s tilts. Rosebush managed to play forward and center when needed. Despite playing with an abbreviated roster, Dakota’s heavy style of physical play (with only one penalty) helped his team win three of their four games in the Pittsburgh Showcase. They even managed to hold the fourth ranked Florida Alliance to a solitary goal. Dakota had 4 assists on the weekend and finished a plus 5.

JuniorHockey.com invites all of you to congratulate Dakota Rosebush for his outstanding performance this week.

Honorable Mention goes to: Nick Tunno of the New York Apple Core 15U.  Playing in the EJ Showcase, Nick scored in Friday night’s game and had an by an assist in both Saturday morning’s game and Saturday evening’s game.

Thank you to all that participated in this event. Our next “Youth Hockey Player of the Week” competition will open at noon on Thursday.
