USHL Goalie of the Week: Todd Scott - Junior Hockey News

Published: Monday, 9 Nov 2020
By: Michael Moore

This week the USHL Goalie of the Week is Todd Scott of the Tri-City Storm.  Scott is the first Goalie of the Week selection of the 2020-21 season. With many games postponed only six USHL goalies took the pipes in the opening week.

Of the limited number of netminders this week Todd Scott let in only one goal this week. On Saturday the Storm opened their season against the Sioux City Musketeers. The Muskies put a total of 32 shots on Scott. Of those 32 only one bested him- a tally from Brian Carrabes in the third.

Todd Scott’s current statistics are:
W:1 L:0 T:0 SO:0 GAA:1.00 SV%:0.969

Todd Scott (20) is no rookie to Junior Hockey. In 2016 he made the jump skating with the Coulee Region Chill of the NAHL and later that season with (this week’s foe, no less) the Sioux City Musketeers. Having gain much success early on in Tier 2 and Tier 1 play, Scott earned a spot at the Major Junior level in the WHL. He started his first WHL season with the Vancouver Giants but was traded mid-season to the Edmonton Oil Kings where he would finish the season and the following season thereafter. Last season he left the Oil Kings to join the Tri-City Storm in the USHL. The Albertville, MN native remains undrafted.
