Published: Sunday, 2 Feb 2020

This week the Great Western Futures Super Camp USHL Goalie of the Week is Victor Östman of the Chicago Steel.  This is the second time this season Östman has earned this honor. The first time was on January 7th after defeating the Gamblers twice in the same week.

This week was just as remarkable. On Friday, Victor achieved the lone shutout of the week. The Chicago Steel defeated the Madison Capitols, 0-4.  Östman faced 30 Capitol shots, blocking all of them in the Steel victory.

Victor Östman’s statistics stand at:
W:18, L:4, T:0, SO:2, GAA:2.32, SV%:0.909

Victor Östman (19) is an import from Danderyd, Sweden. He spent his youth playing with Enebybergs IF and HV71. He was drafted in 2019, #240 overall by the Chicago Steel in the USHL Entry Draft.
