Great Western Futures' USHL Goalie of the Week: Gavin Enright - Junior Hockey News

This week the Great Western Futures Super Camp USHL Goalie of the Week is Gavin Enright of the Green Bay Gamblers.  This is the second time this season Enright has earned this honor. The first time was on November 4th after a 4-0 shutout over the Sioux City Musketeers.

This week was no less impressive. On Friday, Gavin was put into the game against the Madison Capitols after fellow goalie (Nicholas Grabko) let in three of five shots in the first. Enright saved his team by denying all but one of the 21 shots he encountered to secure the Gambler win.

Enright’s performance continued on to Saturday night’s rematch against the Capitols. His Gamblers’ defense tightened up things in front of him and allowed only sixteen shot on net. And of those sixteen Capitol opportunities, none of them found their way past Enright. The performance would be Gavin Enright’s second shutout of the season.

Gavin Enright ’s current statistics are:

Gavin Enright (20) is a native of Farmington, MN. Gavin’s youth was spent playing with his hometown team at Farmington High. He broke into the Juniors skating with the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL. Enright has committed to Bemidji State beginning, 2020-2021.
