GWFSC Returns to Las Vegas for 2020 Junior Hockey News

Great Western Futures Super Camp is for elite Hockey players born between 2001 and 2008 looking for exposure to Division 1 College Hockey and for kids looking for exposure to Junior Hockey at all levels. The players will be divided into three groups. One group will be 2001 to 2003 the next group will be 2004- 2006 and the youngest group will be 2007 -2008 birth years.

If you have the desire to play Division I hockey, the surest path is through Junior Hockey. Go to or or and look at the players that are moving on to play college hockey. We have secured USHL head coaches, WHL head coaches, BCHL head coaches, NAHL head coaches, besides these coaches, we have also secured Division I college coaches to coach the other teams.

Along with these coaches who will coach the teams in the Super Camp, we also have commitments from teams in the USHL, WHL BCHL, NAHL, Junior A Tier II, Junior A Tier III leagues, WSHL, CSHL, EJHL, and AA and AAA Midget teams. 

The camp will consist of four games and one practice per team. The camp will start Monday, July 6 and end Thursday late afternoon July 9.

“This camp has turned into a camp that fills a lot of needs for the player that is looking for exposure to a lot of different leagues be it USHL WHL, NAHL, BCHL, Tier 3 or NCAA Division 1 College or Club hockey. The talent level continues to get better each year as does the number of scouts. “The list of coaches at this camp is as good as your going to see at any exposure camp this summer,” said Bliss Littler, Wenatchee Wild GM / Head coach, BCHL.

“As a former USHL coach and now a college Head Coach at Minnesota State-Mankato, I can tell you the importance of recruiting. We are always on the lookout for talented players. This event gives us a chance to see the player in a competitive environment,” said Mike Hastings Minnesota-Mankato.
