The seasons are changing, preseason hockey is upon us, and football is officially back. Here is your official welcome to fall 2019.
At this point, nearly every team has released their ticket and promotional packages for the season. As someone who has a marketing background, its definitely evident to see who allocates more money to marketing compared to others.
The Tri-City Storm took on the Lincoln Stars in what was an absolute shooting clinic. For the Storm, Nick Capone, John Lundy, Andruis Kulbis-Marino, and Carter Mazer all had a goal, and Cody Sherman had two for himself. Kyle Aucoin thrust himself onto the scoring sheet with two assists as well. Brayden Nicholetts, Ty Glover, Christophe Fillion, and Dalton Norris all had a goal for the Stars in a 6-4 losing effort.
The Omaha Lancers have announced the hiring of Colten St. Clair as their new Assistant Coach. St. Clair is a former USHL player and will look to help guide younger players and show them what it takes to be successful in this league. “We are happy to add Colten to our staff. He is a bright young hockey mind with a tireless work habit and a deep commitment to learning the coaching staff. He will do great,” said General Manager and Head Coach, David Wilkie
. The Lancers take on the Topeka Pilots of the NAHL this Tuesday.
In other news, the Gamblers are honing in on their official roster as they bring back 16 players from last year’s roster. One name fans may remember is Jesse Tucker, their leading scorer from a year ago. The Gamblers take on the Sioux City Musketeers Sept 13 and recently beat Chicago 3-0 in an exhibition game.
