Great Western Futures' USHL Player of the Week: Trevor Kuntar Junior Hockey News

Published: Monday, 18 Mar 2019
By: Michael Moore

Trevor Kuntar is this weeks’ Great Western Futures Super Camp USHL Player of the Week. Trevor put up three goals over this weekend. The first came in the Phantom 7-2 blowout of the Madison Capitols. The following game on Sunday, he put up two more goals again against the Caps. The Phantoms went on to win that game as well, 6-3. Thanks in-part to Kuntar’s productivity this weekend, the Youngstown Phantoms have clinched a spot in the 2019 Clark Cup Playoffs for the fifth straight season.

Trevor Kuntar (17) is a native of Williamsville, NY. The left-handed center played his youth hockey with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres of the Tier One Elite Hockey League. Trevor has committed to play for Harvard University beginning in 2020-21.

This week, the USHL Player of the Week is brought to you by the Great Western Futures Super Camp. The Futures Super Camp is the premier place for players to gain exposure among USHL / WHL / BCHL / NAHL coaches as well as many other junior and college coaches.
