The North American Hockey League switches into a higher gear for the first time since the holiday break. We’ll get a bigger platter of games to choose from.

#11 Minot Minotauros at #12 Minnesota Wilderness: This is going to be a war. Minot is going to have their work cut out for themselves. The Wilderness have a tremendous amount of on-ice talent and will be difficult to take down at home.

#4 Minnesota Magicians at #17 Springfield Blues: The Magicians are taking a business trip down to Springfield with every intention of going back home with max points. What can the Blues do to stop them?

#10 Fairbanks Ice Dogs at #7 Janesville Jets: There’s a new coach on the bench in Janesville and the Ice Dogs are looking at this series as fresh meat. Not so fast Fairbanks; new bench boss Corey Leivermann knows his way around the league and has his former boss, Joe Dibble, back to lend a hand.

#8 Bismarck Bobcats vs #3 Aberdeen Wings: The Bobcats and Wings have been at each other’s throats for years, so this weekend should be fun to watch. Can Bismarck put an end to Aberdeen’s ten-game win streak?

NAHL BATTLE OF THE WEEK
#9 Corpus Christi IceRays at #2 Amarillo Bulls: The IceRays and Bulls are a combined 18-1-1-0 in their last 20 games. Let that sink in for a second. The bad news for Corpus is fact that this series will be played on the Texas Panhandle where the Bulls are 10-2-0 this season…that’s just nasty.
