JuniorHockey.Com’s USHL Player of the Week: TJ Walsh Junior Hockey News

TJ Walsh is this weeks’ JuniorHockey.Com’s USHL Player of the Week. The Des Moines Buccaneers put in an impressive week by winning all three of their games. A good amount of that success can be attributed to the play of Walsh. He registered a pair of goals in the Buccaneers overtime victory against the Sioux Falls Stampede on Tuesday. More importantly was that the second goal he tallied came at 28 seconds into overtime to give Des Moines the win. On Saturday, he was responsible for two of the goals that propelled Des Moines to their 3-2 victory over the Lincoln Stars.

TJ Walsh (18) grew up in Shrewsbury, MA. He is a left handed left winger. He spent the past two seasons skating with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Prior to playing in the USHL he played with the North Jersey Avalanche, Cushing Academy, Shattuck St. Mary's Bantam T1 and the Boston Jr. Bruins. He has committed to play for Northeastern University beginning in 2019.
