This week the JuniorHockey.Com USHL Goalie of the Week is Isaiah Saville of the Tri City Storm. Playing in 3 of the first for games for the Storm, Isaiah has managed to keep his team undefeated. In fact, he has only allowed two goals to be scored on him so far this season; one goal in each of his first two appearances. This weekend he stopped all of the 25 shots the Des Moines Buccaneers threw at him to earn the shutout. Saville’s expertise has gained him a .970 save percentage and a staggering .67 goals against average.
At 18 years of age Isaiah is a product of Anchorage, Alaska. He grew up playing for West Anchorage High and the Anchorage North Stars before coming to Colorado and playing with the Colorado Thunderbirds of the Tier One Elite Hockey League. His first Junior stint would be with the Minnesota Magicians of the NAHL where he played in 41 games. His average save percentage over the past four seasons has been an incredible .939. Isaiah has committed to the University of Nebraska – Omaha beginning in the 2019 season. He is a top prospect and eligible for the 2019 NHL Entry Draft in Vancouver this June.
