The Wichita Falls Force are debuting their new home and away jersey today to the public. The official team logo also is being unveiled after a fan-based vote on the new team nickname in July.
With the ‘Force’ being a nod to the local Sheppard Air Force Base to logo includes a blue jet with red and white colors in the background.
Head Coach Misko Antisin was impressed saying, “I’m very excited to see the new jerseys and logo. It’s my first time seeing them as well; love the colors. Such a great tribute to the men and women at Sheppard Air Force Base. I’m looking forward to starting the season.”
The Force and their USA Central Hockey League opponents now turn their attention to preparing for the season on the ice. The team is still seeking billet homes for players. More information can be found on the team website.
