WHL Home Opener schedule released Junior Hockey News

On Tuesday the Western Hockey League released regular season schedules for all of its teams. They will play 68 games instead of 72. Going in Alphabetical order the Brandon Wheat Kings have their home opener Friday September 21st vs the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Calgary Hitmen have their home opener on Saturday September 29th against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Edmonton Oil Kings have their home opener Friday September 21st against the Red Deer Rebels. The Everett Silvertips home opener is Saturday September 22nd against the Vancouver Giants. The Kamloops Blazers home opener is Friday September 21st against the Kelowna Rockets. The Kelowna Rockets home opener is Saturday September 22nd against the Kamloops Blazers.

The Kootenay Ice home opener is Saturday September 22nd against the Calgary Hitmen. The Lethbridge Hurricanes home opener is Friday September 21st against the Medicine Hat Tigers. The Medicine Hat Tigers home opener will be Saturday September 22nd against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The Moose Jaw Warriors home opener will be Saturday September 22nd against the Brandon Wheat Kings.

The Portland Winterhawks home opener will be on Saturday September 29th with a venue to be determined. The Prince Albert Raiders home opener will be Friday September 21st against the Regina Pats. The Prince George Cougars home opener will be Friday September 28th against the Kelowna Rockets. The Red Deer Rebels home opener will be Saturday September 22nd against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Regina Pats home opener will be Saturday September 22nd against the Prince Albert Raiders. The Saskatoon Blades home opener will be Saturday September 22nd against the Swift Current Broncos. The Seattle Thunderbirds home opener will be Saturday September 22nd against the Portland Winterhawks. The Spokane Chiefs home opener will be Saturday September 29th against the Kootenay Ice.

The Swift Current Broncos home opener will be Friday September 21st against the Saskatoon Blades. The Tri-City Americans home opener will be Saturday September 22nd against the Spokane Chiefs. The Vancouver Giants home opener will be Friday September 21st against the Everett Silvertips. The Victoria Royals home opener will be Friday September 21st against the Prince George Cougars.
