Liam Ferris
the 2nd Player from the prestigious Northwood Prep School to
sign with the Eels for Next Season and the 4th player from the HPA
Combine in Fort Wayne Indiana. Liam had spent two years at Northwood first year
playing midgets and his 2nd playing for the Prep School. He will be
joined by fellow teammate from Northwood Prep
Jean-Philippe Montmarquette who also
signed with the Eels this month.  Liam
will be joining our Eels Premier team this fall. He is 6’ 1” 175 pounds
centerman. We love the way he plays commented General Manager Frank Scarpaci.
He is a smooth skater and controls the puck well. A very nice playmaker as well.
Liam
was also present at the HPA Combine in Fort Wayne Indiana. Another strong
player presented by HPA Sports Management. Executive Director, Dan D’Astoli, of
HPA Sports Management again showcased another fantastic prospect in Liam at the
Combine and it was a no brainer that the Eels wanted him. In fact, the Eels had
already came to terms with Liam as he visited Fort Myers and met with Eels
Premier Coach Frankie Scarpaci and GM Scarpaci. Toured the rink and the
training center at World Gym.

Liam
is a high character young man and fit precisely what we were looking for: A
strong skilled individual, with strong grades, high test scores, great
character and a very dedicated, determined and committed athlete to train and
out work his opponents. This is a kid who has a high compete level and wants to
win.

We
look forward to Liam joining us in August and being part of our continuing developing
program.
