The Florida Eels Coaching Staff Heads To
Massachusetts Next Week Hosting Two Teams at the USPHL Spring Showcase in
Marlboro MA and One Team at The New England Pro Am NHL Pre Draft in
The Eels coaching staff is very excited about
the upcoming weekend of games. Joining current member of our Eels teams will be
prospects from around the USA, Canada and Europe. These young men have been
recruited from across North America and Europe. Many are using this vehicle as
tryout for the Eels Premier and Elite teams.
The visibility and exposure opportunities in
simply phenomenal. Yes 60 young men all wanting to be seen by NCAA college
coaches will get an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents to those
who count the most: NCAA coaches. By the same token the players will be under
the radar of the Florida Eels affiliate NCDC team the Islanders Hockey Club.
The guys will have a chance to give the NCDC coaches a snap shot of what they
can do as players and hopefully capture their eye.Below
is the Press Released issued by the league:Boston, MA - The USPHL Spring Showcase is
set to begin on May 12 at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough,
MA. The event plans to feature top players from across the USPHL’s junior and
midget divisions. “The USPHL is dedicated to giving its
players opportunities throughout the entire calendar,” said USPHL commissioner
Richard Gallant. “Our teams not only develop players throughout the
season, but also work with them extensively in the offseason. The USPHL
Spring Showcase is a great way to display those players, and their hard work,
to scouts from around the country. This is a tremendous advantage to
playing in the USPHL.” The event is anticipated to be heavily
scouted with teams from around the country in attendance. Event passes
can be purchased at the New England Sports Center starting at just $10. The USPHL has also teamed up with Hockey
TV, the exclusive broadcasting partner of the UPSHL and 2017 USPHL Spring
Showcase, to air each game at the event live on HockeyTV.com. A list of games and their air times can
