Estero, FL- The Florida Jr. Blades have signed TJ Zebley for the
2016-17 season, head coach Todd Pococke and assistant coach Tyler Carlston
announced today.
The youthful forward sets himself apart from the average player
with his powerful skating and high hockey sense allowing him to generate plays
that make other skaters better.
“We're very excited about TJ and his potential as a hockey
player,” said Pococke. "With as young as he is, he has a lot of time to
continue to improve and develop his game.”
Zebley, 5'11, displayed terrific hands with the U16 Everblades AA
program catching the attention of the Jr. Blades coaching staff last season.
“TJ has been able to produce at every level to this point, and we
expect more of the same this season,” said Carlston. “He's very shifty, and has
a nose for scoring goals.”
The Springfield, PA native joins an experienced roster where he
will have the opportunity for a huge developmental leap making him a player to
watch this season.
