The Western States Hockey League is pleased to announce the addition of the 30th team into the League.
The Breckenridge Bucks formerly of the RMJHL have agreed to move up to the WSHL for the 2016-2017 season. The Bucks who make their home at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena in downtown Breckenridge, CO. The Bucks will be added into the Mountain Division of the WSHL, bring the division to 8 teams.
WSHL Commissioner Ron White said, “We are extremely pleased to have the Bucks join us in the seasons to come. It brings back one of our early partners Stuart Borne who was instrumental in forming the Fresno Monsters and joining the WSHL. We look forward to another extremely competitive team in the Mountain Division.”
“We are excited to take our program to the next level of Junior Hockey and believe that joining the WSHL puts us on that path,” Managing Partner Stuart Borne said about the move.“
