Adam Vay (El Paso Rhinos) in Net at IIHF World Championships Junior Hockey News

The Western States Hockey League is proud to report that Adam Vay, goaltender two seasons with the El Paso Rhinos, successfully earned a roster spot on the Hungarian National Team currently playing in the 2016 IIHF World Championships.
Vay had a marvelous career while playing for Head Coach Cory Herman in El Paso, leading the team to two successive trips to the Thorne Cup finals. In 2013-2014, Vay led the WSHL in Goals Against Average and Save Percentage, en route to a Thorne Cup Championship win. 
Vay's WSHL record in the two seasons played, was a amazing overal record of 53 Wins, 5 Losses, including 10 shutouts. 

Adam's Player Profile:
 Vay is currently playing for the Hungarian National Team in Saint Petersberg, Russia.  Vay is shown in the photo below, defending the goal against Team Canada.  Entering the game midway through the second period, Vay allowed only one goal in a 7-1 loss against Team Canada.
