Rob Powell returns to the Glacier Nationals Junior Hockey News

 Head Coach Rob Powell returns for a 2nd stint with the Nationals after spending a season in Pro Hockey. Coach Powell has over 20 yrs of coaching experience at the Jr, College, and Pro levels and is known for developing his players for higher levels of hockey. He has moved 100's of players to higher levels of Jr hockey, NCAA/ACHA College hockey and Pro hockey. He currently has 12 former players playing Pro hockey around the world. He is acclaimed for always having competitive teams and has won numerous Championships and awards.

"The Nationals are very excited for Coach Powells return" stated GM Butch Kowalka. "Rob is well known as both a recruiter and a placement coach. He will help to bring a higher skill level and compete level to the team and also deliver to the players the exposure they need".

Rob and his wife Kim have been married for 35 years and have two sons Sean, and Tyler who both played at high levels of hockey.Coach Powell is excited about the Glacier Nationals opportunity and looks forward to a strong season.
