In case you missed it, Eric Tatarian of the PAL Junior Islanders Elite team made the save of the year
on Saturday night...
Tatarian's sprawling, behind the back save quickly went viral. ESPN's John Buccigross called it the "greatest glove save of all time" on Twitter, with others commenting that it was reminiscent of Hall of Famer Dominik Hasek.
"Hopefully a close second" is how Travis Quigley described his second period goal
in the same game, a brilliant through-the-legs snipe that produced roars from the fans in attendance.
After quickly going viral, the two plays found their way onto the ESPN production floor where they took the 2nd and 3rd spots on SportsCenter's Top Plays.
for February 2nd's edition of Top Plays!
