The Florida Eels Elite team sweeps the Palm Beach Hawks in their home and away weekend series. In game one the Eels offense overpowered  the Hawks with 6 goals to 1. Kade Brannon scored twice as did Connor Annett in this offensive assault laid on the Hawks goalie. Notching his 9th goal and 20th point of the season was Brandon Rosario. Also reaching his  9th  goal and 16th point  on the season was Brian Dennerlein. Brandon Halverson, Alex Sanchez, Zac Boyle, Richard Dorherty, Garrett Wood and Gage Downing each earned an assist.   Jonathan Carlson picked up two assist on the evening. Matt Schneider faced 33 shots.

The Eels showed why they are on top of the Florida Division and sit 2nd overall in the Southern Conference. The only team with more points than the Eels is Hampton and that is because they play 4 more games in the unbalanced schedule. The Eels defeated the Whalers in the only contest between the two clubs.

The Eels came out on fire vs. Palm Beach and did not stop until the final whistle. The boys are very hungry and have one mission. Sweep the playoffs and earn the right to move on to the Beantown Classic for the final four.

In game two of the match between the Eels and Hawks the Eels picked right up from their previous nights play. The Eels unleashed another 44 shots on the Hawks netminder. The score was limited to 3-1 but the drive was equally relentless. On Sunday Colin Whitt, (5th of the  season)  Kade Brannon (12th of the season and 3rd of the weekend) and Josh Delezeene (24th of the season) picked up the goals for the Eels.

Assisting on the Eels’ goals were Jordan Court, Kade Brannon, Conner Annett, Jonathan Carlson, and Alex Sanchez. Matt Schneider played in net for his 19th win on the season. Another fine job.
