Estero, Fla- The Florida Jr. Blades and the USPHL announced Monday that Jeremy Pelletier has been named the USP3HL Defenseman of the Week.
Head coach Todd Pococke is thrilled to see the Laval, Quebec native developing his talents with the program.
"We are very excited for Jay as he earned defensive player of the week,” said Pococke. “Being a ‘99 it has been a big learning year for him and he has improved every step of way. We really like where his game is at and he definitely earned player of the week."
Pelletier posted 2 assists and notched his first goal against the Daytona Racers in two games played for the week. In the regular season, the 5-foot-10 Pelletier has tallied a total of 6 points.
The Jr. Blades continue the regular season this week facing the Florida Eels Saturday and Sunday. Stay up to date with game times at the FloridaJrBlades.com
