Congrats are in order for Eels Elite team captain Alex Sanchez who became the Florida Eels all time career Points leader with 130, the all time Assists career leader with 91, Points in a season with 60 and Assists in a season with 44.

Alex has been a staple with the Eels for the past 4 seasons and he has really stepped up to the plate this year in terms of individual accomplishments as well as team accomplishments. He has been one of our most effective leaders and it shows over all in the way he and the team has been playing.

He has garnered some solid interest in NCAA Colleges this season and is expected to be playing men's NCAA college hockey next year.

Another milestone reached this season is by team assistant Captain Jonathan Carlson. Carlson has become the single season leader in Points by a defenseman with 49 and Assists with 41. Jonathan has been playing for the Eels since he was a peewee. He has climbed thru the ranks through midgets Empire and Elite. He made the conversion this year from forward to defense and has done an extremely good job. Way to go Jonathan

The other milestone comes form Coach Jason Bloomingburg who has notched his 100th win as a Florida Eels coach. Nice job indeed. Coach Jason is looking for a little more this season. He has his eye on winning the Southern playoffs with a chance to go up to Boston once again to play for the USPHL Championship. That is the big prize. That is where all eyes are on. He says he can feel it. He says it is there.
