Numerous sources in Chicago are confirming that the Chicago Hitmen have been locked out of Fox Valley Ice Arena due to the large unpaid ice bill.

The North American Hockey League team has seven games remaining, two at home scheduled for March 23, 24.

The NA3HL team has games remaining at Quad City.
UPDATE 10:30 AM CENTRAL
From a Chicago Hitmen NA3HL Parent-
Hi Stephen, News travels fast. As you know my son is on the NA3 team. He was supposed to have his regular scheduled practice yesterday. It was canceled, with no one using the ice slot. When a couple of kids showed up they were told by the arena to remove their belongings from the rink.
As the kids conversed the rumor was that the NA team was going to forfeit the rest of the season. As of right now, we don't know of the implications for the NA3 teams upcoming games this weekend in Quad Cities. I can tell you this. The team hasn't been able to keep my son's skates sharpened. Pucks for the team are extremely hard to get. And finally, food for the team is sub-par. It doesn't get any worse than that. As always please don't use my name. Keep up the good work.
