The Northern Pacific Hockey League's Vancouver Vipers are on a mission to end their 21-game losing streak when they play the Eugene Generals this weekend.  21 is perfect at the Blackjack table and that is exactly where the Vipers want the slide to end. Tri-Cities hosts Bellingham in the other series on Friday and Saturday.

Eugene Generals (18-12-0-1) and Vancouver Vipers (2-29-0-0) Friday and SaturdayThe Vancouver Vipers have had more than enough. Viper fans should look for lighting in a bottle on Friday night. Eugene will throw the book at Vancouver in the form of Hunter Hartman (20g, 37a) and Zak Johnson (28g, 26a) and will do whatever possible to stop Cody Dettman (15g, 17a) and the brothers Twigg (Jalen 7g 2a, Trey 4g, 4a). Vipers David Deadman( 1-16-0, 8.41 GAA, .829 SV%) goalie may be experiencing a bit of rubber poisoning while recording 598 saves in 18 NORPAC games this season.

Tri-Cities Outlaws (14-16-2-0) at Bellingham Blazers (15-16-1-0) Friday and SaturdayBellingham fans should break out the calculators and popcorn for this weekend's battle between Bellingham and Tri-Cities. The teams combine to average 8.62 goals per game this season and that tells us that we are in for a show. The Blazers feature the dynamic duo of Cody Rich (34g, 25a) and Mason Wade (13g, 31a) while NORPAC defensive player of the week Scott Hansen (6g, 14a) runs the blueline crew. The Outlaws counter with Brett Myer (29g, 19a), Devan Beck (19g, 18a) up front.
