In the lone Midwest Junior Hockey League game Tuesday night, Tennyson Chevrolet defeated the Michigan Ice Dogs 8-2 at the Tennyson Arena.

Ken Winter led the offense for Tennyson with three goals, while Zach Wiacek scored twice and Kyle McKibbin added four assists.

Robert Danyo tacked on three assists, Tennyson captain Zach Chapman contributed a goal and two assists and Ryan Brown and Anthony Wojciechowski each had a pair of helpers.

Ryan Krolikowski scored once with an assist, Jerome Schlaff also scored and Chris Boyd picked up the win in goal with a 15-save outing.

For the Ice Dogs, Zach Bess and Hunter Ledgerwood scored and Andrew Freeman and Colton Lewicki combined for 26 saves between the pipes.

With the win, Tennyson pulls to within three points of the second-place Soo Firehawks.
