Two games on Sunday afternoon wrapped up the Midwest Junior Hockey League schedule for this weekend.
At the Allen Park Civic Arena, Tennyson Chevrolet skated to a 6-2 win over the NWO Grrrowl behind three-point games from Ryan Brown (two goals, assist) and Kyle McKibbin (goal, two assists) and 25 saves from goaltender Dominik Corredino.
Tennyson captain Zach Chapman, Joey Matyaszek and Ken Winter also scored in the win.
For the Grrrowl, Ryan Santo scored both goals, while Andrew Zuckerman and Chris Lewis combined for 37 saves in goal.
Anthony Laaksonen and Andrew Holder each tallied two goals and an assist as the Soo Firehawks completed a three-game sweep of the Rhinelander Street Cats at Big Bear Arena with a 10-4 victory.
Kevin Killips chipped in a goal and two assists, while Mike Mullen, Taylor McRorie, John Barlow and Cody Anderson added a goal and an assist apiece.
Matt Majic also scored and Ryan Marshall and Alex Drulia each contributed a pair of assists.
Keegan McGraw made 33 saves for the win between the pipes.
Denis Danilov recorded two goals for the Street Cats, while Devan Vander Wyk and Kiril Kulakov had a goal and an assist each.
In goal, Spencer Brasswell made 47 saves in the loss.
