The road trip to Flint, MI has not been kind to the
Johnstown Tomahawks.
The team has been battling hard in each of the two
contests, but has come up short.
Johnstown will have the opportunity to salvage three
points this afternoon when they wrap up their series with the Michigan
Warriors.
In order to take two points from Michigan, the
Tomahawks must capitalize on the power play, as the Tomahawks failed to score
on the man advantage last night.
Trevor Gorsuch has been a wall for Moe Mantha's
Warriors and will look to propel Michigan to its fifth straight win.
Meanwhile, Johnstown wants to snap its three game slide
and overtake Kalamazoo for third place in the North Division.
Andrew McDonald finally got back on the score sheet
with his second period goal Saturday, but that would be the only goal Johnstown
would score.
The Tomahawks have only scored three goals in two
games and will look to turn that trend around this afternoon.
After this contest today, the Tomahawks will host
the Port Huron Fighting Falcons for a two game series and then host the first
place Soo Eagles in a 1:00 matinee at the Cambria County War Memorial, Sunday January
13.
