Windsor Spitfires Claim Khokhlachev on Re-Entry Waivers - Junior Hockey News

The Windsor Spitfires made a couple of moves on Friday as the team waived forward Juraj Bezuch and claimed forward Alexander Khokhlachev on re-entry waivers.
Bezuch was pointless in four games with the Spitfires, who acquired him from the Kitchener Rangers last month in exchange for Nick Czinder, Jeff Brathwaite and a seventh round pick in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
In his two seasons with the Spitfires, Khokhlachev scored 59 goals and added 86 assists in 123 regular season games and posted nine goals and 11 assists in 20 playoff games. Khokhlachev was selected by the Boston Bruins in the second round, 40th overall, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
The 19-year old center is struggling with his current team, Spartak Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League, (KHL) with one goal to show for in 13 games.
There are currently no signs of Khokhlachev returning to North America, but the window is open for him to return to the Spitfires.
