Tyson Teichmann Traded To Mississauga Steelheads - Junior Hockey News

Goaltender Tyson Teichmann will join his fourth OHL club as he was
traded from the OHL Champion London Knights to the Mississauga
Steelheads earlier today. In exchange for the 19-year old netminder, the Knights will receive a
conditional 12th round pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Draft. Teichmann,
19, spent his first two years with his hometown team, the Belleville
Bulls, but was traded to the Erie Otters prior to the 2011-12 season. The Belleville, Ontario native
played a total of 17 for the Otters and was later traded, along with
Greg McKegg, to the Knights at the trade deadline and
played the role of backup to Michael Houser.
With Teichmann traded, the Knights have recently-acquired Kevin Bailie,
Jake Patterson and the team's first round pick, Liam Herbst on the
team's goaltending depth chart. Herbst is out until mid-October as he
recovers from surgery to both knees.
