"We showed a lot of heart and passion to come back and I thought both countries represented themselves well this weekend." Team USA scored the game's opening goal for the third-straight time in the series when Taylar Cianfarano(Oswego, N.Y.) picked up the rebound from teammate Jenny Ryan's (Victor, N.Y.) point shot and scooted the puck to Amy Menke (Shakopee, Minn.), who then banged it in from close range. Canada scored with 4:21 to play in the first period, sending the game into the second stanza knotted at one goal apiece. Canada gained a 2-1 edge just 1:20 into the middle period that stood going back into the locker room.
