"David Mead has agreed to play here his 20 year old season. He's a big experienced defensemen that played for me in Omaha.", said Wenatchee Wild head coach Bliss Littler.
David Mead has played 3 seasons in the OHL with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds where he posted fifty-six penalty minutes. After his stint in the OHL he moved to the Omaha Lancers where he played under now Wenatchee head coach Bliss Littler. After his season in Omaha, he moved to the Fargo Force where he finished his USHL career.
The second player signed is Tyler Bruneteau.
"Were excited to add Tyler Bruneteau to our team. #anotherpiecetothepuzzle", said head coach Bliss Littler in a Twitter message.
Bruneteau is a 1993 forward who grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Last season he played with the Wichita Falls Wildcats where he posted two goals, six assists, and twenty-one penalty minutes.
Both these players will bring skill and experience to the team. Wenatchee is shaping up to be one of the big contenders of the NAHL.
