Brooks, Alberta, August 3, 2012 - The Brooks Bandits are proud to announce the signing of 19 year old, defenseman, Shane Pilling. Pilling is from Lethbridge, AB and has spent the last 2 seasons with the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League.

Head Coach/GM Ryan Papaioannou - "Shane is a player that makes any team significantly better. He took his time to evaluate Junior A programs across Western Canada and has chosen our organization as the place to be. I have personally known Shane for many years and can say we are adding another player that fits our mold. He is an intelligent person that is mature and will bring a veteran presence to our group. His skill set and skating will be something that adds to the depth of our back end."

The Bandits Organization would like to welcome Shane to the City of Brooks!
