The Fairbanks Ice Dogs open their home season on the 5th , 6th, and 7th of October against the Wenatchee Wild.  The Ice Dogs eliminated the Wild from the playoffs last season in three game. These will be 3 great games that fans should go out of their way to attend.

The next weekend the Fresno Monsters come to Fairbanks for a three game set. the Monsters and Ice Dogs had a good rivalry going last season and put out a lot of great games. Fairbanks won 7 out of the 8 games they played last year.

Then on the 26th and 27th of October the Corpus Christi Ice Rays come to Fairbanks. These two teams did not meet at all last season and Corpus Christi is a great team so these will be two great games.

On the second and third of November the Wichita Falls Wildcats come to town. The Ice Dogs and Wildcats actually played each other last season where they split the series with the second game going into shootout.

Then on the 9th and 10th of November the Kenai River Brown Bears come to town. Fairbanks took eight out of twelve games last season. This was a great rivalry last season and fans should be excited to see these good hockey teams meet.

Then on the 14th and 15th of December Kenai River is back in Fairbanks.

On the 11th and 12th of January the Janesville Jets are in town to take on the Ice Dogs. These two teams did not meet last season so it will be cool to see these two play.

The Next weekend the Springfield Jr. Blues are in town. These two played each other at the show case where Fairbanks took the win in a chippy game. This will be a series for fans to see.
