Kitchener Rangers Sign Kegan Blasby,Ty Learn - Junior Hockey News

The Kitchener Rangers have signed two of their draft picks from this past April's Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection by inking 1996-born forwards Kegan Blasby and Ty Learn to OHL contracts.
Blasby, a native of Markham, Ontario, was selected by the Rangers' in the sixth round. The 5'11, 183 lbs center skated for the Markham Wakers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) in 2011-12 and registered 11 goals with 14 assists in 26 games. He was recently in Cornwall to take part in Team Ontario's Under-17 Provincial Camp. Blasby has been described as a solid two-way player with decent offensive skills.
Learn, the Rangers' seventh round pick, skated for the Southern Tier Admirals minor midget AAA squad last season where he scored 16 goals with 14 assists in 23 games. Listed at 5'10", 172 lbs, the Niagara Falls, Ontario native has been described as a strong skater that likes to play a physical game.
