Watch out Chase, Short, and Martin...the Clydesdales have TWO sets of three amigos. Defenseman Andrew Doig has committed to attend St. John's, where he'll join fellow alums Matt Morsette and Jason Dzurik. That makes the second trio to move on to the same school, as Reed Armstrong and the Palm brothers Ryan and Chris will be doing likewise at Northland College.
A Duluth native and graduate of Denfeld, Doig was solid defensive zone presence for the Clydes the past two seasons, playing in 54 of 56 games in his first year and 32 of 34 this past season after coming home in mid November from Minot (NAHL).
