Published: Wednesday, 25 Jul 2012

The Fresno Monsters released their home schedule for the upcoming season so today would be a good day to take a look at the out of division teams that will visit Selland Arena.

The first home series is against the Bismarck Bobcats on the 12thand 13thof October. This is Bismarck's first trip to Fresno. Bismarck captured the Central Division Championship last season so this should be a great set of games.

The next home series is against the Minot Minotaurs on the 2ndand 3rdof November. Minot had a rough first season last year with a record of 7-49-4. Regardless, the Monsters expect a battle with the second year club.

The Monsters host the Jamestown Ironmen on the 30thof November and 1stof December. Jamestown also finished last in their division last season. This should also be a good set of games. The north is a tough division last season and Jamestown was not that bad of a team.

On the 7thand 8thof December Fresno host the Johnstown Tomahawks, formerly known as the Alaska Avalanche. Monster fans should be very excited about seeing these two teams meet. This could end up as one of the best home series of the Fresno Monsters 2012-2013 season.

The Monsters' fans are always going to be excited to see new teams come to Fresno.

In the next few days we will also take a closer look at Wenatchee, Fairbanks, and Kenai River's schedule.
