Salera and Haskins Hold it Down on Blueline with Blades Estero, Fla.-- The Florida Jr. Blades and head coach and general manger Tad O'Had are proud to announce the signings of Matthew Salera and Michael Haskins. The local duo join the Jr. Blades after a SAHOF championship season with the Florida Junior Everblades 18-U program. The pair is expected to bolster the Jr. Blades blue line and add depth to an already impressive lineup. "Both of these guys are high quality young-men with serious potential the fact that they have been groomed in our backyard is a major plus," said head coach Tad O'Had. "We couldn't go out and recruit two more dedicated and serious young-men." What the rookie defenders lack in experience they make up for in energy. "We are really looking forward to how these players develop," said O'Had. "They have the ability to make a big impact come playoffs." "We've seen the Jr. Blades play for the last two seasons and admired the level of professionalism they bring to junior hockey," said Haskins. "I'm excited to get to put on the Jr. Blades jersey and be a part of another championship team."
