The Clydesdales are proud to announce that two year Clyde and 2011-12 alternate captain Matt Morsette has committed to attend St. John's University for the upcoming season.  Morsette will join goaltender Jason Dzurik as a Johnnie down in Collegeville, MN, and makes it a quintet of Clydes moving on to collegiate play in 2012-13. The trio of fellow captain Reed Armstrong as well as two-year Clydes Chris and Ryan Palm had previously announced their intent to play at Northland College.

Morsette, a Two Harbors native and graduate of Duluth Marshall, was the SIJHL's Most Improved Player this past season. The winger played in all but two games on the year, and went 30-30  to pace the Clydesdales on the top line and power play.
